The Cuvée Brut is the emblematic signature of the House. Made from a blend of the three Champagne grapes, with a minimum of 30% reserve wines, and aged for three years on the lees in the chalk cellars deep beneath Reims. It is elegant and balanced, punching well above its weight and representing astonishing quality and class.
The Rosé Sauvage is a boldly gastronomic wine, made with 15% red wine, from Les Riceys, which gives it impressive structure and intensity. It eschews the trend for water-pale rosé and delivers plenty of concentration and personality.
The Essentiel range is produced exclusively for independent merchants and the on-trade. The Essentiel Cuvée Réservée Extra Brut, Essentiel Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut and new for 2023, the Essentiel Blanc de Noirs, are made in limited quantities, with their low dosage (all at 6 grams per litre) and extra ageing on lees (minimum 3 years) making them ideal for whetting the palate or serving with seafood.
The Vintage is made from primarily Grand and Premier Cru vineyards and is a blend of 45% Chardonnay and 55% Pinot Noir aged for a minimum of five years on lees. Distinguished by its outstanding freshness, Piper-Heidsieck Vintage 2014, released in March 2022, has a unique profile expressed by its fruity aromas – with typical notes of lemon and citrus fruits – lifted by exotic notes of orange blossom, liquorice, and lime zest. Brioche and roasted almond flavours round off the full-bodied profile of this vintage.
Lastly, the Cuvée Sublime is one of Champagne’s best-loved Demi-Secs. With a dosage of 33 g/l and a bright bite of acidity, it shows exquisite balance and generosity, making an elegant partner for desserts or cheese.
